Share your opinion on the European Disability Strategy today

6 November 2019

Do you think that the rights of persons with disabilities changed in the last ten years, in your country or at European level thanks to the European Disability Strategy (EDS)? What would you like to improve on the rights of persons with disabilities? What has been the impact of the EDS in your country (i.e: European Accessibility Act, Web Accessibility Act, etc.)?

The current EDS is now reaching an end and the European Commission is evaluating the strategy to assess how it has been implemented during the period 2010-2020. This strategy is the main instrument to set, define and implement disability policies within the European Union.

We encourage you to share your views and comments with the European Commission, so please respond to the consultation via this link. You can respond in the official EU language of your choice. The consultation will end on 13 November 2019. You can take part in the survey either as an individual or as a member of your association.

The first preliminary findings of the survey will be presented during the European Day of Persons with Disabilities, which will take place in Brussels (28-29 November 2019).
