Awareness raising and prevention are shared activities, for this reason we ask you to join us in creating important awareness, by sharing key information about IF’s prevention projects, folic acid and advocacy, in addition to sharing your own prevention activities and sharing best practices.

As in previous years, IF shares a social media toolkit containing suggested messages, posters and links to share/tag some of the key partners and stakeholders in prevention to lead a powerful and impactful social media campaign and reach as many people as possible across the world.

This week is a yearly event to highlight IF’s prevention activities. During the WFAAW, IF together with members and partners raise further awareness on the important topic of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus prevention through multiple actions. Moreover, this year IF wants to take the opportunity to transform the way the world tackles the global challenge of malnutrition and prevention of Neural Tube Defects.  For this occasion, IF organises the event “Webinar World Folic Acid Awareness and Turning Points” including speakers from all over the world sharing their perspectives on how we can build a smarter, stronger, and healthier future for all. The agenda and registration link are available here.

What can I do? Join IF during the WFAAW 2022 to raise awareness on the important topic of SBH prevention. By sharing the IF WFAAW22 toolkit across your social media channels and network. Prevention is a combined effort.
