WSBHD21 side-event ‘From Traditional to Digital – Unlock Your Digital Communication’

On October 25th 2021, the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus together with worldwide members will celebrate the World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day 2021 (WSBHD21) under the theme “Unlock Your Rights to Health”.

IF facilitates dialogues and exchanges of best practices among IF Member Associations around the world to optimise the dissemination of information and campaigns on digital platforms. 

Especially for the WSBHD21, IF organises a side event on Communication: From Traditional to Digital – Unlock Your Digital Communication to which all Communications Coordinator of Member Associations are exclusively invited.

This side-event will take place on Tuesday 19th of October at 4PM – 5.30PM (CEST), one week prior to the WSBHD21. 

The focus point is to highlight the importance of communications, especially digital communication,  in advocating for the rights of individuals with SBH. The aim is to  share experiences on strategic communication to unlock individuals with SBH’s rights to health by sharing best practices and lessons learned after almost completely switching and relying upon a digital setting due to the pandemic.

To sum up, IF aims at connecting Communications Coordinators from IF Member Association to facilitate dialogue and possible partnerships by building relationships and enhancing an optimised dissemination of information and campaigns on digital platforms.

Please note that this event is not open to all, only communications’ person from IF Member Associations are accepted (including Presidents). This event will offer simultaneous translation in English and Spanish.
