“IMAGINE, CREATE AND LIVE YOUR RIGHT!” Photo contest on human rights
Participate in the 1st edition of the photo contest dedicated to the topic of human rights organised by IF and ASBI Italy. The photo contest is open to everyone and has no age limits. Prizes will be awarded to the first 3 classified.
Using the communicative power of the image to highlight an important and delicate issue such as Human Rights, promoting a moment of creativity and healthy competition, while at the same time stimulating a deep reflection on the need for the implementation of rights in today’s society. With these objectives, IF and the Spina Bifida Italian Association has launched the first edition of the photo contest “IMAGINE, CREATE and LIVE YOUR RIGHT!”.
Participation is open to everyone, both registered and non-registered within ASBI Italy, without age limits. Each author may submit a photo in a digital format, in color or in black and white. Digital processing will not be allowed, except for the improvement of the graphic aspect of the digital file.
The topic of the competition is “IMAGINE, CREATE and LIVE YOUR RIGHT” with specific reference to Article 27 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The article states: “Everyone has the right to freely participate in the cultural life of the community, to enjoy the arts and to share in scientific advancement and its benefits”.
The examining committee will be composed of professional photographers, representatives of the Association and journalists.
The President of the Jury will personally select the top three finalist. The other 9 deserving photos, together with the three finalists, will make up the 12 months of theÂ
the 2021 International SBH Calendar.
The award ceremony will coincide with the inauguration of the collective photographic exhibition of all the works selected and with the official presentation of the 2021 International SBH Calendar on the topic of Human Rights.
