UGANDA (TET)

TET Foundation Uganda

Description

TET Foundation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Children-Uganda a non-for-profit organization with our Headquarters based in Fort portal city, Western Uganda, Africa.  The organization was founded in 2018 by the parents of TUMWESIGE EDGAR TESTIMONY (TET) who was born with two health conditions (Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus).  We found out that many parents were suffering with kids especially the mothers after their fathers had run away from them because of having such kids in their families, they regarded them as a curse, unwanted, unloved and many other sorts of names, so we came up with a vision of starting a foundation in the names of TET so that these children and their parents/caretakers are supported and also sensitize the community on how to curb these health conditions at primary level.

VISION: A Uganda where everyone who has Spina Bifida or Hydrocephalus can access quality healthcare and support.
